Hey there! I’m a physician who started very traditional. In 2005 I heard a talk inviting to take a look at integrative medicine. At that time it was called alternative medicine by most. It started me on the long journey of various branches of integrative medicine and I have been combining the knowledge of both worlds since that time. Last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Needless to say being on the other side of the coin is a different experience (to say the least). I started journaling and I did it for several reasons, one to document my experiences and share them with others. Two, to note what I was doing differently and what worked what not. And three, there are so many things people don’t know and either try to hold on to anything that sounds promising or to do so many things that they become harmful. And, of course, in today’s world of AI and internet it is difficult to navigate and separate truth from fiction, PR from real thing, etc, etc. So, here I am inviting you to read about my journey and maybe find something that can be useful for you

I have created this site to share my thoughts, feelings and concerns as well as many modalities I am using in my breast cancer journey. I am a physician but I am not giving medical advice on this page. Any information found here should not be construed as medical advice. A lot of things I have done for myself were done without permission or agreement of my doctors. I am a firm believer that a battle with cancer is successful when the best achievements of modern medicine, technology, pharmaceuticals and immunotherapy, surgery and radiation are used together with support of body and spirit. A lot of times when I tried to help my patients I got the following: my doctor told me not to take anything on the day of chemo, a week before, a week after and other days. I actually have knowledge of what herbs can or cannot do and how dangerous or not certain effects can be. So I dared to go with my own protocol. I will gladly provide information on what elements of my protocol do what, how accessible they are and what are the sources
