If yesterday was gloomy/moody and everything alike, today is totally the opposite. My mood cannot be better and really good mood is all one needs to be high, no drugs at all. I sent my blood for signatera test and at the end of the day I had a call from pathologist who had actually performed TYL count. I had a lot of those cells which is one strike out of three as far as good prognostics signs are concerned. Besides all the genuine good vibes from every good person I have met on my way make my day. My other dear friend gave me my belated birthday gift and you can see it above. I absolutely love it and feel it like a ray of sunshine on my hand. The next few weeks are going to be vitally important – I am getting my portfolio of test and research ready. At the end of the day major decisions are mine. However, there is one more thing I found out – every clinical center/hospital has tumor board where any oncology case can be presented and reviewed by many specialists – hence collective “second” opinion, rather something that used to be called “concilium” in old times. Cancer is not really a situation when one can say VENI, VIDI, VICI (I came, I saw, I conquered – phrase attributed to Julius Caesar that means quick and decisive victory). However it must be viewed as conquering. No matter how steep and difficult is the climb – we strive to get to the top. I don’t want to be sounding overly optimistic but I think looking forward is a good rule to adopt. Another one is – when I am well most of what I am doing now will continue being my way of life.

The quote for today (unfortunately I do not know the author) “Destiny is what you create for yourself. Fate is when you fail to create your own destiny.”
